Find a Way. Amy Grant. You tell me your friends are distant You tell me your man's untrue You tell me that you've been walked on And how you feel abused. So you stand here an angry young woman Taking all the pain to heart I hear you saying that you want to see changes But you don't know how to start. I know it's hard to see The past and still believe Love is gonna find a way I know that love will find a way (A way to go) Love can make a way (Only love can know) Leave behind the doubt Love's the only out Love will surely find a way. I know this life is a strange thing I can't answer all the whys Tragedy always finds me Taken again by surprise. I could stand here an angry young woman Taking all the pain to heart But I know that love can bring changes And so we've got to move on. Love will find a way (How do you know?)

Between 1982 and 1984, Amy Grant had become one of the most popular contemporary Christian singers to date. Her album Age to Age had become the best-selling Christian album up to that point; it became the first Christian album by a solo artist to be certified gold in 1983. Although Grant never made public her intentions to crossover to mainstream music during this period, her success might have hinted at future decisions

Amy Grant is the eponymous debut studio album by then-teenage Christian singer Amy Grant, released in 1977 on Myrrh Records. Three songs from the album made Top Ten Christian radio airplay: "Old Man's Rubble", "Beautiful Music", and "What a Difference You've Made". The latter track was made more famous by country singer Ronnie Milsap, as "What a Difference You've Made in My Life".

This was the album when Amy Grant took a major step downward. It was an enjoyable album, but suddenly watered down lyrically in hopes of commercial appeal. And the album was titled "Unguarded," of all things. The bible warns us not to let our guard down lest we become sidetracked from our Creator. Not in substances, they will run out or your time will. Find true love within yourself. THEN you can love others so deeply, you bring them to their inner love within.

Amy Grant: A Christmas Album! 1983 Myrrh Records Release! TRACKS: A. It always makes me want to stand up and sing (and sometimes, when I'm sure nobody is looking or watching, I do)! The way that Grant and co. use dynamics in conjunction with statements of faith really makes this song pop out from the rest of the collection. not all that different from the slew of other "Sleigh Rides" out there
