Berlin Strings features an innovative new legato system which analyzes your performance to choose between four different types of legato: - Slurred expressive legato - Agile, fast legato (scripted) - fast runs legato - portamento. With velocity you have control over different captured bow stroke intensities (soft attack, immediate attack, accented attack). Several crossfading techniques (dynamic layers, legatos fade scripts, vibrato fading) or playing more than one voice leads to a bigger and pad-like undefined string sound. With smaller sections we´re trying to take this effect into calculation to end up with a detailed, expressive orchestral string section. Berlin Strings includes the following sections

Berlin based Booka Shade's Blaufield imprint offers the second remix package after the success of the critically acclaimed 'Cut The Strings' LP which dropped in April. The duo have approached more fellow artists to provide their own interpretations of the album, as well as adding in their own rework. Following 'The First Time' which became Hot Creations biggest selling record of the year 2017, Bontan steps up for his take on the track 'Confessions'. Clean drums lead the way before powerful, arpeggiated synths unfold and a robust bass line takes center stage.

Berlin Strings features five strings sections (two violin, cello, viola and double bass) with around 30 players and four microphone positions. There is a huge number of articulations including an Adaptive Legato feature that works out a interval transitions based on your playing style and speed. No Strings is Sheena Easton's 11th album and a departure from the Pop and R&B style of her earlier recordings with jazz-tinged production arrangements by Patrice Rushen. The song "The Nearness of You" was featured on the soundtrack of Indecent Proposal
