Around and Around" is a 1958 rock song written and first recorded by Chuck Berry. It originally appeared under the name "Around & Around" as the B-side to the single "Johnny B. Goode". The Rolling Stones covered the song on their EP, Five by Five and second . album 12 X 5 in 1964. Besides the band members it featured Ian Stewart on piano. In October 1964, they performed the song as part of their first appearance on The Ed Sullivan Show

The GP's, Category: Artist, Biography: Former and current Fairport Conventioneers Richard Thompson (guitar, vocals), Dave Pegg (bass, mandolin, backing vocals) and Dave Mattacks (drums), along with singer/songwriter Ralph McTell, formed the GP's ("Grazed Pontiffs," so dubbed by Dave Mattacks following the assassination attempt on the Pope) in the summer of 1981 to headline an evening at the annual Fairport reunion festival. Monthly Listeners: 13, Where People Listen: Karlskoga, Copenhagen, Ouddorp, Newtown, Bristol. The record, Saturday Rolling Around, was reissued in 1996 by HTD Records. Brett Hartenbach, Rovi.
