Attention Shoppers! is the third studio album by the American hard rock band Starz. The album was released in 1978. All tracks written by Starz. Michael Lee Smith - vocals, guitar, percussion. So it seemed logical when Starz provided a big dose of outright power pop on its third album, Attention Shoppers!. The band didn't eliminate the pop-metal factor on this 1978 LP; "X-Ray Spex" and "Good Ale We Seek," for example, are the type of pop-minded hard rock items that one expected from Starz.

Violation is the second studio album by the late-1970s American hard rock band Starz, released in 1977. All tracks written by Starz, except "Sing It, Shout It" by Starz, Jon Parrot and Sean Delaney. Unfortunately, "Attention Shoppers" was met with a collective commercial raspberry, effectively derailing Starz' momentum. Even more unfortunate is the fact that about 50% of the album is really good. The opener, "Hold On To The Night," is first rate pop-rock, and "I'll Be There" comes pretty close behind. In true side one and two fashion, the second half went to the older Starz rock, with "Johnny All Alone" being a terrific blues-rocker. X-Ray Spex" is a blatant attempt to mimic the energy of punk and was a total hoot.
