Angra - Freedom Call album flac

The new songs are Freedom Call, a good and strong song, very in the route of regular Angra. The other is Reaching Horizons, a beautiful ballad with great arrangements, without being outstanding, the song is good enough to flows through the album in a nice dark and mellow grove. The other three songs are remixed, modified versions of songs already published. Nothing wrong with them, but nothing new or brilliant as well.

Freedom Call is a German power metal band formed in 1998. The band tours regularly and the current line-up includes two original members including lead vocalist and songwriter, Chris Bay. Freedom Call has released 12 albums in total, nine of these studio albums. Freedom Call's frontman Chris Bay's vocal talent was more or less inherited from his grandfather, an opera singer with the Berlin State Opera, and his mother, who was a sought-after chorus singer.

A little EP for the fans, Angra cast forth this disc which is very much tinged with the flavour of the Holy Land album. Some of the tunes here are quintessential Angra such as the driving, insistent yet still melodic title track/lead cut.
