Kaleidoscope is the debut studio album by American singer Kelis. It was released on December 7, 1999 by Virgin Records, and was produced entirely by The Neptunes. Despite underperforming in the United States, the album saw mild success in certain international markets, including the United Kingdom, where it charted at number 43 and was certified gold. Swedish Katla release their album Embryo on Svart Records on September 30th. Here's a prime cut off the album, seven minutes of sonic bliss titled Illusion tla is an enticing mixture of everything that was unforgettable and magical in the musical landscape of the seventies - a hint of krautrock here, a dash of Hawkwind-y psychedelia there and a touch of Swedish folk rock on top. In February 2014 the band entered the legendary studio of Silence Records in the dark forests of Värmland to tape their long play debut

The album was recorded in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, sometime during the Summer of 2010, while the Eyjafjallajökull volcano erupted, which led Ida Maria to title it Katla.
