Motörhead is the self-titled debut studio album by the band Motörhead, released on 21 August 1977, on Chiswick Records, one of the first for the label. It is officially regarded as the band's debut album, though an album was recorded in 1975 for United Artists which was shelved, and was only released in 1979 after the band had established themselves commercially

The last Motörhead studio album, Bad Magic has a real stench of the blues running through it. Despite his health problems, Lemmy sounded forthright and confident on an album that, if anything, had a lot in common with On Parole. In that respect, it appeared to have the band coming full circle. There’s an adept cover of the Stones’ Sympathy For The Devil, while Teach Them How To Bleed and Victory Or Die are well constructed. With the classic line-up in place, Motörhead actually wanted this to be a live farewell record, as they seemed to be getting nowhere slowly. Thankfully, they were persuaded to go into the studio, recording most of the album in just two days. The lack of time and budget suited their style. What comes across is a raw, aggressive trio, straddling punk and metal on songs like Iron Horse/Born To Lose, White Line Fever and the revamped Hawkwind number Motörhead.

Sacrifice is the twelfth studio album by British band Motörhead. Released in 1995, it is the second, and last album, to feature the four-man lineup of Lemmy, Phil. And instead, MOTÖRHEAD gleefully say a loud and hearty "bollocks" to that sort of feeble-minded thinking with their 22nd studio album, "Bad Magic", due on August 28. Bristling with thunderous attitude, pioneering spirit and some of the fiercest rhythms and riffs that'll beat your ears into submission this year, "Bad Magic" is a massive kick in the teeth for anyone who dared believe it might be otherwise. Written and recorded in the studio together, for the first time in the ee era, the more "live" approach to creating "Bad Magic" has obviously paid dividends in this regard.

The discography of Motörhead, an English rock band, consists of twenty-two studio albums, thirteen live albums, thirteen compilation albums, five extended plays, twenty-nine singles, ten video albums and thirty-four music videos. Motörhead were originally formed in 1975 in London by bassist and vocalist Ian "Lemmy" Kilmister, after his departure from Hawkwind, who drafted in guitarist Larry Wallis and drummer Lucas Fox to complete the band's initial lineup. The trio recorded their debut album for release on United Artists, although it was not released until 1979 as On Parole.

Classic Album Selection. Motörhead are a legendary British rock band, highly influential in the development of many different rock and metal subgenres (including Thrash Metal, where many bands cover their songs) who love Rock N' Roll but for some reason blurred the lines of Punk and Heavy Metal when actually playing it. This box set compiles the bands second through to sixth studio albums, as well as their first live album
