Feels Good to Me is the 1978 debut solo album by the British drummer Bill Bruford. The band Bruford grew out of the line-up assembled for this album. Led by drummer Bill Bruford, the album features guitarists Allan Holdsworth and John Goodsall, bassist Jeff Berlin, keyboardist Dave Stewart and ECM flügelhorn stalwart Kenny Wheeler. He also enlisted singer and songwriter Annette Peacock.

When I listened to the studio album "Feels Good To Me" and also "One of A Kind" I was imagining how the members of the band would play it live and now I watched them play it beautifully. Wow! It's really entertaining. I had the good fortune of seeing Bruford, unfortunately post Holdsworth, at the now defunct Atlanta Agora. I did get to catch Holdsworth touring for his . album, but that's another story. My first pass through this concert really gave me the goosebumps. It is unfortunate that this DVD is only 41 minutes, but the set list is excellent. Four tracks from Bruford's best album, One of a Kind. Annette Peacock even shows up for a couple of songs. I always thought that she didn't fit in well with this kind of music, but it's nice to see her all the same.

Bill Bruford played a significant role in two of the biggest progressive rock bands of all time. Bill Bruford recorded ten albums with the band Yes. The work he performed with Yes included the late 1960’s and early 1970’s recordings and his return to the band in the 1990’s He was also one of the founding members of the band. After leaving Yes in 1972, Bill Bruford joined King Crimson. Bill Bruford would end up appearing on sixteen King Crimson albums including a few live recordings.
