You've done it again, Sir. Giving me LIFE! I love you Kev Beadle! < 3 xoxoxoxoxoxox. Brett Dizzie Allen1y ago. So hep! carlcollinsherbt1y ago. Class from Mr Beadle as per usual. Blkbarrister1y ago. This is a wonderful compilation! litha melamane1y ago.

It’s a followup from Kev Beadle (Dingwalls legend), picking beauteous tracks (with an eye on the esoteric DJ) including highlights such as Stanley Cowell’s wonderful I’m trying to find a way. Heady fusion and jazz with afrocuban influences are privileged. Jazz from the 80s is often overlooked by collectors, and often with good reason but it’s a delight to have grupo medusa’s 1982 brazilian jazzdance presented, a treasure hidden in a decade of goofy fusion.

Private Collection: Independent Jazz Sounds From The Seventies & Eighties. BY Kev Beadle Presents. DJ, radio presenter, music producer and event promoter Kev Beadle’s bio reads like a journey through the halcyon years of jazz, jazz funk and soul scene in the UK from the early 80s right through to today’s various musical manifestations. The music on this compilation is a very personal journey tracing back to Kev Beadle’s earliest experiences as both a DJ and collector on the jazz dance scene.
