Causa Sui is a Danish instrumental psych-rock, stoner rock band composed of Jakob Skøtt, Jonas Munk, Rasmus Rasmussen and Jess Kahr. Beginning with their eponymous debut album, the band has released twelve albums since 2005. Causa Sui's heavy sound is supplemented by abstract, instrumental and ambient styles akin to electric Miles Davis or Can, particularly on their 'Sessions' series of albums, which feature guest musicians.

Causa Sui has made it clear their intention with Euporie Tide was to tighten up their signature jams and make them sound less haphazard while still maintaining the improvisational nature and live concert feel to it. With a little planning and forethought, they've put together an entire album of the tightest Causa Sui jams yet. Each track flows into the next, and never are you left wondering when they'll stop soloing over the same riff and move on. It's improv perfection.
