The cover of "That's Life," which closes the album, is predictably overblown, but Roth can be forgiven as it's obvious that he's not taking anything too seriously. -Genevieve Williams. Eat em' And smile is a fantastic 80's style of (POP) metal music that is roth's masterpiece! Easily roth greatest material on any of his solo albums. The musicians are some of the best in the business! Guitarist steve vai is absolutely incredible as is billy sheehan on bass.
