Live at Last is a 1980 live album by English heavy metal band Black Sabbath. Despite its wide distribution and success (it peaked at No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart), the album was released without the permission or knowledge of the band, and is thus regarded in some quarters as an unofficial bootleg live album. The album was, however, released legally by the band's former manager Patrick Meehan who owned the rights to the recording.
This album was later re-released as part of the Past Lives double live CD in 2002, and was its first ever official recognition by the band. It was also finally released officially by Black Sabbath on it’s own in 2010. This is the original back cover image. However, the physical image you are looking at is a scan from the 2010 booklet, I do not have a physical original copy to scan from (hence the inclusion of the 2010 Universal catalogue number on the image). This is the back CD cover image from the 2010 re-release of the album.

It wasn't until 1982's double-LP Live Evil (which featured Ronnie James Dio instead of the Oz) that Warner finally put out a live Sabbath album in the . Released in England in 1980, Live at Last is a single LP that was recorded before Osbourne's departure but didn't come out until after he had left. Unfortunately, this LP's liner notes are problematic. Nems lets you know that Live at Last was recorded in Manchester, England, and at the Rainbow in London, but no recording dates are given. And Osbourne's first name is misspelled "Ossie.
Live at Last is the famous unauthorized Black Sabbath live album from the 'old days' of the band. I've got to say, however, that it is perhaps the weakest of all Sabbath material I've ever listened to: and this coming from a die-hard fan of both Sabbath and Heaven and Hell. Perhaps its out of fear that, because he's tuned his guitar so freaking low, Tony will bend the strings out of place, but he just plays like he doesn't care. Sweet Leaf" is perhaps the lowest point on this album
