Bluegrass Dominion, Chicago, Illinois. The home for the Kentucky Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, and WKU Hilltoppers on the FanSided Network. While most people tuned in for Kentucky basketball over the weekend, the boys on the hardwood weren’t the only ones with a tough matchup. The Kentucky baseball squad made their way down to Baton Rouge, Louisiana to face the number one ranked Louisiana State Tigers over a three game series.

I (Jesse Burdick, interim president and founder of the Old Dominion Bluegrass Music Association) will be calling for a general meeting very soon, most likely over a potluck dinner or at a restaurant. I will also have a mission statement drafted before I attend the IBMA World Of Bluegrass conference in Raleigh, NC next week. If you wish to become a member (along with family memberships), the ODBMA is offering free lifetime memberships for the first year after the initial meeting. Executive board members and members at large are needed.

Bluegrass music is a genre of American roots music that developed in the 1940s in the United States Appalachian region. The genre derives its name from the band Bill Monroe and the Blue Grass Boys. Bluegrass has roots in traditional English, Irish, and Scottish ballads and dance tunes, and by traditional African-American blues and jazz.
