Cosmo's career began in the 1960s, when he fronted a rock and roll band signed with an American label called Fling Records. The group recorded two singles: Wise To You, and Ponytail Annie During the 1980s, Cosmo was based in the UK and starred in a series of musical commercials for Whitbread Best Bitter Beer alongside Roy Castle and Blackadder star Tim McInnerny. Cosmo played the Russo-Turkish War era Mameluke Abdul Abulbul Amir who was constantly outwitting the foppish.
Cosmo's Factory is the fifth studio album by American rock band Creedence Clearwater Revival, released by Fantasy Records in July 1970, and released as Fantasy 8402 – the same month as the single release of "Lookin' Out My Back Door" with "Long as I Can See the Light" on the B side. With the release of Cosmo's Factory in July 1970, Creedence Clearwater Revival hit their commercial zenith.
