The Paris Concert is a d live album by jazz musician John Coltrane. Despite the album title, some sources assert it was recorded at a concert in Berlin on 2 November 1963. Other music from this concert was issued on Afro Blue Impressions. Others claim it was indeed recorded in Paris, on 17 November 1962. Original CD release The Paris Concert (Pablo). This excellent LP by the classic John Coltrane Quartet (with pianist McCoy Tyner, bassist Jimmy Garrison, and drummer Elvin Jones) is highlighted by a 26-minute version of "Mr. . Also included on the album are "The Inchworm" and the ballad "Every Time We Say Goodbye. Although the sound and passion of the group on this date will not surprise veteran listeners, it is always interesting to hear new variations of songs already definitively recorded in the studios. The Paris Concert is recommended to all true Coltrane fanatics.

Miles and Coltrane first collaborated in 1955, when Davis recruited the tenor saxophonist alongside pianist Red Garland, bassist Paul Chambers and drummer Philly Joe Jones. Walkin' (Live from Olympia Theatre, Paris) by Miles Davis & John Coltrane. Trying to pick out one concert over another is pretty difficult and actually pretty useless, because the interaction between Davis and Coltrane runs all through this music.
