Burning Witch Crippled Lucifer (Seven Psalms for Our Lord of Light) 2011, 4 12" vinyls + DVD, Southern Lord Recordings (Reissue, Box set). Disc 2 (LP) is "Rift. Disc 3 (EP): track 1 taken from split CD with Goatsnake (2000), track 2 taken from "Caprichos 1-80, Rift Canyon Dreams" split 12''EP with Asva. Disc 4 (LP) is a live at China Club, Ballard 1996. Disc 5 (DVD) contains two live shows: Live at Pioneer Theatre, Seattle, May 1996, and 29 Live Ballard, February 1997.

Crippled Lucifer compiles seven tracks from two separate recording sessions; the first three tracks, from the original release dubbed Rift. laid to tape in 1996 by none other than Steve Albini
A slow, repetitive, horrible darkness. Yes, that's a compliment. The album comes out all guns blazing, even if they are blazing at 30 beats per minute. Warning Sings opens the record with immense power, with its droning riffs, harrowing vocals and incredibly crushing riffs setting the template for what is to be expected from the rest of the album

The track "Rift.Canyon.Dreams" was re-mixed August 2007 at Aleph, West Seattle (credited on the release as "mixed by" only, which, technically, is incorrect, as it was released in 2004 already).
"Crippled Lucifer (7 Psalms For Our Lord of Light)" (an earlier incarnation of this compilation, previously published on Southern Lord with the same catalog number, but only featuring 7 tracks, omitting 1-5, 2-4 and 2-5) mastered April 1998 in the Gas Chamber, Los Angeles.
This new version, referred to in the booklet as "Crippled Lucifer (10 Psalms For Our Lord of Light)", mastered August 2007 at Aleph.
Also available as a limited to 2000 machine numbered copies special edition (only available from the label), that contains a dropcard with a MP3 download code for their 1996 Demo and a their first live concert.
Also available as a limited 3-CD set with said extras on Daymare Records in Japan (February 2008).
The cover only refers to this release as "Crippled Lucifer" not Crippled Lucifer (10 Psalms For Our Lord Of Light)
