Hurd has released eight studio albums, one live album, one compilation album, two video albums and one box set. The band has won numerous Pentatonic Awards (Mongolia's equivalent of the Grammy Award) and Golden Microphone Awards. Guitarist Dambyn Otgonbayar is a member of the Pentatonic Academy. From 1999 to 2007, the band was under the patronage of Erel (a Mongolian mining company) and its owner . rdenebat. The founder of the Motherland Party provided the band with new equipment and a rehearsal space, in exchange for their electoral support and participation in the party campaigns. 1999 : Ödör Shönö (Өдөр шөнө). 2001 : Myangan Jild Gants (Мянган жилд ганц). 2003 : Mongold Törsön (Монголд төрсөн).

dör Shönö (Mongolian: Өдөр шөнө, "day and night") is Hurd's third studio album. It is the only album where the band has changed its name to "Erel-Hurd", the album being the beginning of their 8-year partnership with Erel company. The name "Erel-Hurd" also appears on the compilation cassette Shildeg duu from that same era. Tanygaa dursana was written by . anbold, who also authored the hugely successful Tsergiin bodol from The Best Collection II. The track contains some early recording of . anbold singing Tsergiin bodol.

Track 4, "Suns zalrahui", was known by fans as "Ono ertnii uees" before the official title was revealed in 2013. The track was unlisted on the original CD.
