Lemonade is the fifth studio album by Mucky Pup. It was released in 1993, and was the last record for Century Media Records. This album saw the band's style change by moving away from their comedic humorous songs into a more aggressive yet melodic sound. The album also saw the return of Marc DeBacker on bass.

I view Can’t You Take a Joke as a crossover hardcore/thrash metal and comedy album fueled by cocaine in young bodies and minds. The cocaine ended for all of us, fast. At the time it was awesome. Torrid had Hades and Exodus and took a chance on us. Roadrunner had the album in Europe, I believe. Can’t You Take a Joke was released in 1987, so obviously shit was moving pretty fast. Like every band at that time. I knew we were selling albums because people were coming to shows everywhere, we played, but I never saw a dime of royalty or publishing money. Working for da' man," I guess.

Well I guess Mucky Pup’s debut album Can’t You Take A Joke pretty much sums it up, back to a time where political correctness hasn’t yet destroyed our common sense and censored every expression of humour or got you fired for it. Not all progression has been a step forward.
