Chimaira is the third studio album by Chimaira, released on August 9, 2005. It debuted No. 74 on the Billboard 200 charts and sold 14,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release (according to Nielsen SoundScan). This self titled album is Chimaira's third full length, and first since The Impossibility of Reason, their breakthrough record. This album takes the best bits from Impossibility and makes it even thrashier and heavier than before. It's also more technical.
