You Forgot It in People is the second studio album by Canadian indie rock band Broken Social Scene, released on October 15, 2002. It followed Feel Good Lost, and was the band's commercial breakthrough. Local hype for the album was so big that initial pressings sold out quickly, causing the need for a 2003 reissue.

In 2003, BSS released a stopgap compilation, Bee Hives, which gathered B-sides from their singles as well as remixed tracks. Like their second album, Broken Social Scene earned the group another Juno Award for Best Alternative.

Only 13 left in stock (more on the way). Temporarily out of stock. This is my first Broken Social Scene album. I had a hard time deciding which one to purchase since they seem to have a lot of great ones. I like how each song is a bit different, it keeps you on your toes.

I go behind the building after work and smoke a joint I had in my cigarette pack and put said CD in my discman (Yes, I still had a discman in 2004). I start my bike ride home, with Cause Time and Looks just like the sun. By the time I'm a block away from work, I am FLOORED. It reminds me of her, It reminds me of my prime, riding my bike everywhere I went, getting high, going to parties, and enjoying life in the most visceral way possible.

After the release of Feel Good Lost, Broken Social Scene became a bit more collective, swelling from two members to ten (plus guests) and dropping their ambient instrumental approach in favor of full-blown rock songs. As you'd expect with such a dramatic rise in membership, there's a lot more variety this time out. The first two tracks mirror the band's transformation perfectly; in fact, the first is a fairly airy instrumental number with a Mark Isham-like feel, while the second slams it off the rails with a driving beat and wailing guitars.

First Arts & Crafts reissue with AC 001 catalog number and same artwork as the Paper Bag Records version of You Forgot It In People. Cat appears as AC001 on spine and AC 001 on disc.

Wonderful pressing of this landmark release. An absolute masterpiece and an essential album to have in your collection
Danial
Man I sure do hate people who flip records. Buys it for $32 goes to sell it for $150
Anayalore
You are 100% correct. Besides, an item os only worth what people are willing to pay. Demand always dictates value in these situations
Irostamore
This is a great pressing of this. I haven’t heard a bad pressing of this yet. Own a black 1st and this one (purple).
Goodman
Is this a really bad pressing? Are there any quality pressings of BSS vinyl?
Detenta
Comparatively? Selling garbage quality pressings is much more offensive. The super fan, collector who pays $150 vs. the band/label that charge $32 for unlistenable crap without repercussions. The latter makes me way more angry.

I don't like it either but it's capitalism man. Someone went through the work of tracking down a copy, if they wanna make a profit on it, that's their right. It sucks and I don't condone it, but I don't think there's anything unethical about it.
