Carpenters is the third studio album by American music duo Carpenters. Released on May 14, 1971, it was their most successful studio album, reaching number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 12 in the UK. The album contained the hit songs "For All We Know", "Rainy Days and Mondays" and "Superstar". It has been said that the strength of these recordings is what caused Richard Carpenter to ask his sister to front the band for their live performances instead of playing behind the drums.

The Ultimate Collection (The Carpenters album). The Ultimate Collection is a 3-CD set released in 2006. It contains many of their popular songs, like "(They Long to Be) Close to You" and "Top of the World", and their album cuts, like "Desperado" and "Jambalaya (On the Bayou)". All of the songs are taken directly from the original album.

Greetings Carpenters and Karen Carpenter fans. Carpenters - Album by Album: Song by Song. here I am with another "album by album" video from the Carpenters catalog Daha Fazla. Carpenters Carpenters Tan Album1971.

The Carpenters are releasing a new album with The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. 2 November 2018, 12:42 Updated: 2 November 2018, 12:56. The Carpenters produced some of the most beautiful pop songs of all time, and now they're being reimagined with a full orchestra. The Carpenters' last album was 1981's Made in America, though Richard has released a number of posthumous compilations since then. Karen passed away in 1983 at the age of 32 from heart failure caused by complications related to anorexia. The greatest Carpenters songs of all time.

Carpenters (also known as The Tan Album) is the third and eponymous album by The Carpenters. Released in 1971, Carpenters contained three hit singles: "For All We Know", "Rainy Days and Mondays", and "Superstar". The album also solidified Karen Carpenter's reputation as one of the most accomplished female vocalists of the 20th century.

Listen to Carpenters right now. The duo’s self-titled third album is a superb piece of work, with hand-picked covers and originals from Richard and John Bettis along with a couple from Roger Nichols and Paul Williams. They include one of their best-loved songs, ‘Rainy Days and Mondays,’ the album’s opening track. Another Nichols/Williams tune is ‘Let Me Be The One,’ a song that despite never being a single, has long been a favourite with fans everywhere.

Horizon is the sixth studio album by American musical duo Carpenters. It was recorded at A&M Studios (mainly in Studio "D" using t 24-track recording technology, 30 Dolby, and recorded at 30 inches per second) After five consecutive albums peaking inside the US top five, Horizon broke this run by reaching no. 13. With this release, the group's popularity declined steadily for the remainder of their career

Before Karen and I started out on our own, we were in the aforementioned group Spectrum. Randy hired us (a very rare booking) to perform at his club Ledbetters.
