Lori Cullen is a Canadian pop and jazz singer-songwriter. She has released seven albums as a solo artist, has collaborated with other artists as a guest musician, and has been a Juno Award nominee. Originally from Mississauga, Ontario, Cullen released her debut album Garden Path in 2000. She followed up with So Much, an album of jazz standards, in 2002, before returning to original folk-pop songwriting for 2004's Uneven Hill.

That Certain Chartreuse. Lori interprets 10 eclectic songs by a wide range of writers in her genre defying style, and presents a new original composition as well. Tunes made famous by Shania Twain and Suzanne Vega rub shoulders with a cult classic from King Crimson, while local composers Jory Nash, Kurt Swinghammer and John Millard are represented beside a chestnut from the grandfather of Toronto singer/songwriters,Gordon Lightfoot. Along side two original works Calling for Rain is full of other people’s songs. A collection of mature songs that highlight the craft of song writing and the emotional power of a direct and intimate lyric. Rare gems by Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, Randy Newman, Bruce Cockburn, Richard Thompson, Harry Nilson, Henry Mancini and Irving Berlin.

Some years ago Cullen began playing guitar, writing songs and singing in Toronto. In 2004 Cullen released her second cd of original songs. This cd titled"Uneven Hill" was re-released in April 2005 through Maple Canada.
