One of the few songs on this album I don’t own the vinyl of. Ideally I would have liked to remix the original Lamont Dozier version, which is for me the best. He now owns the rights to his catalogue but he never replied to our mails. Realistically he won’t be short of money and may well have no interest in remixes of his material. I then tried to get the Ritchie Havens cover but the label didn’t have the multi. At that point I thought, maybe I should consider the Odyssey version. After all it’s a very faithful and well-executed version produced by veteran Steve Tyrell
