The Dissociatives are an Australian band consisting of Daniel Johns of Silverchair, Australian dance producer DJ Paul Mac, and touring members Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes from Sydney electronic duo "The Presets". Complete your The Dissociatives collection. A majestic piece of pop music and also one of the best live acts I've ever seen (which had them playing this album song by song plus a cover or so). This might be Johns' finest effort which goes a long way in my opinion. I hope Johns gets back into making music, his vocal ability and feel for melodies is outstanding.

However, former Silverchair frontman Daniel Johns is entirely to blame for the failure that is the Dissociatives. And this debut, created with co-writer Paul Mac, is a sweeping, Technicolor failure but like train wrecks and plastic surgery makeover shows, it's an oddly fascinating mess. We're Much Preferred Customers" opens the LP with a soft 4/4 thud and manipulated vocals.
