Déjà Vu is the second album by trio Crosby, Stills & Nash, and their first as a quartet with Neil Young. It was released in March 1970 by Atlantic Records, catalogue SD 7200. It topped the pop album chart for one week and generated three Top 40 singles: "Woodstock", "Teach Your Children", and "Our House". It was re-released in 1977 as SD-19188 and the cover was changed from black to brown.

There were also some obvious virtues in evidence - the addition of Neil Young to the Crosby, Stills & Nash lineup added to the level of virtuosity, with Young and Stephen Stills rising to new levels of complexity and volume on their guitars.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young discography. The core discography of supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young consists of eight studio albums, five live albums, six compilation albums, four video albums, and 19 singles. Originally formed in 1968, the group released one album as the trio Crosby, Stills & Nash before recruiting Neil Young into the band for their first concerts in 1969

Album: Déjà Vu (1970). Get the Sheet Music License This Song. There was a specific case of "Deja Vu" that inspired this song. It happened when Crosby was riding a friend's sailboat. In the 2019 book Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, he said, "It's as if I had done it before. I knew way more about it than I should have. I knew how to sail a boat right away.

Album Déjà Vu. Déjà Vu Lyrics. If I had ever been here before I would probably know just what to do Don't you? If I had ever been here before on another time around the wheel I would probably know just how to deal With all of you And I feel Like I've been here before Feel Like I've been here before And you know It makes me wonder What's going on under the ground Do you know?

Notes

Curious release with Kinney Music GmbH mentioned at the bottom of the labels, while the white bar incl. the WEA to the right side at the same time. So this is obviously a release from the era when the companies changed, late in 1972.

Recorded at Wally Heider's Studio III, L.A.
