Chuck is the third studio album by Canadian rock band Sum 41. The album was released on October 12, 2004. It is the band's last album to feature lead guitarist Dave Baksh until his return in 2015. Chuck peaked at No. 2 on the Canadian Albums Chart and No. 10 on the US Billboard 200, making it the band's highest-charting album until it would be surpassed by Underclass Hero in 2007.

Nothing Sum 41 has done since has quite compared with the success of Fat Lip - which only means one thing: they've gotten better. For those of you that enjoy the perks of a backstory to their listening experience: The Canadian pop-punk quartet named their album in honor of United Nations peacekeeper Chuck Pelletier, who escorted Sum 41 safely to a . compound when gunfire erupted outside their hotel during their humanitarian visit to the Congo in late May of 2004. Deryck told Chuck if they made it out alive, they would name the album after him.

But a UN aid worker named Chuck Pelletier was instrumental in getting the band to safety, and a grateful Sum 41 named their fourth album in his honor. As they say in their liners, "Without him, we'd be dead. Chuck rules!" The experience also seems to have mellowed the group's sarcastic streak.
