TITLE added to MP3 cart. The Alligator Records 20th Anniversary Collection. Exclusive Prime pricing. Alligator Records is a wonderful lable offering a good varity of blues music. They put out a clean well balanced recording. A very nice collection of songs.
The great thing about these Alligator anniversary compilations is that there's no overlap in songs among them (even if they all feature many of the same great singers). Great entertainment here. Republica Cafe Cool Jazzy.

Recorded on live on Alligator Records' 20th Anniversary Tour, this double disc set is a showcase for the label's artists. Featuring an array of their most popular acts - Koko Taylor, Lonnie Brooks, Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials, Elvin Bishop - the record doesn't deliver any surprises, yet these performances are frequently more exciting than the studio versions. Stephen Thomas Erlewine. 1 Killing Floor Lil' Ed & the Blues Imperials 3:8. 2 Can't Let These Blues Go Lil' Ed & the Blues Imperials 3:42.
The Alligator Records 20th Anniversary Tour. IT STARTED AS A DREAM-to put a busload of Alligator artists on the road, barnstorming across the country, playing one-nighters and bringing genuine houserockin' music out of the clubs and into auditoriums and concert halls. In the spring of 1992, the dream became a reality. We rented a bus, filled it with Koko Taylor and Her Blues Machine, The Lonnie Brooks Blues Band, Lil' Ed and the Blues Imperials, Elvin Bishop, and Katie Webster and hit the road. Various Artists/Anthologies Mississippi Grind Complete Collection (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack). Various Artists/Anthologies Living Chicago Blues IV. Various Artists/Anthologies Living Chicago Blues I.
