Akiko Kiyama was born in Tokyo,JAPAN, the artist based in Berlin,Germany since 2007. She is the first female techno,minimal producer in Japan. Since her youth,she was surrounded by classic music education and had been playing piano for 20 years. And she also started playing electronic guitar when she was 12 years ol. hrough the experience of guitar, she found the other possibilities from classic music and got more interested in the sounds expanded by electricity.

Akiko Kiyama - 7 Years Akiko Kiyama is still in the process of making her mark. She has only been making 'club music', as she calls it, since 2004, with releases on Süd Electronic and Lick My Deck amongst others. But don't feel this album is a letdown or doesn't have hidden pleasures, because it does. Kiyama makes you feel like something's going on around you and invites you to look for it over your shoulder, even though nothing is there when you do.
