There’s a second album from them called GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER which is also released on EAR WAX. Worth adding to one’s funk collection. Too bad that the discussion of the 9TH CREATION album is closed. That’s how actually how i landed on this site. As a serious boogiefunk collector i got curious how this record sounds. I can imagine that the process of this auction amazed the seller.

Hunt's Determination Band. While determination is obviously a good thing in the music business, in the case of this late '70s soul outfit the question is who "Hunt" is, since there is nobody by this name on the group's records. The reference might be to hunters and hunting, not exactly a typical subject in the cosmic funk of the late '70s, although the classic Albert King song The Hunter might be an inspiration.
