Toni Childs (born October 29, 1957) is an American-Australian singer-songwriter. She is best known for her songs "Don't Walk Away" (a Billboard Hot 100 hit in the United States in 1988), "I've Got to Go Now", a Top 5 hit in Australia in 1991, and the Emmy-winning "Because You're Beautiful" (released as a single in 2004, and featured on her 2008 album Keep the Faith). In New Zealand she has had six Top 40 hit singles and three platinum albums.

Toni Childs followed up her critically acclaimed Union in 1991 with House of Hope. Once again, Childs wrote the bulk of the album with David Rickets (David and David) with whim she co-produced the album. Despite those facts, and despite the return of guitarist David Rhodes and drummer Rick Marotta, House of Hope fails to match the impressive standards of Childs' debut. Toni Childs (born October 29, 1957, Orange, CA, United States) is a Grammy nominated and Emmy Award winning singer-songwriter currently based in Queensland, Australia. In 1979 she was briefly the lead singer for Berlin prior to Terri Nunn. Her 1988 solo debut Union is certified gold in the . and double platinum in Australia. She received two nominations for 1989 Grammy Awards: Best New Artist and Best Rock Vocal Performance (female). She also opened for Bob Dylan on tour that year. In 1997 Childs was diagnosed with Graves' disease. She shelved her fourth album, Bare, moved to Hawaii and gave up touring until 2006. Material from the shelved album ended up on Keep the Faith (2009) and The Vault (2018). Childs received an Emmy Award in 2005 for the song "Because You're Beautiful" from the film When the Violence Stops. The song was included on Keep the Faith.
