TM's second album is definitely titled as risqu�, mostly due to its title and rather ugly semi-erotic cartoon artwork, but the music proves the title wrong. Lead by the Drogies brothers (I'm serious, check it out for yourself ;-) this psych-jazz-rock septet has a very Krautrock feeling and can be assimilated to Kraan crossing Release Music Orchestra to remain in their German homeland.

Music of THIRSTY MOON, a German band that released their first album 1972 on the Brain Label. 1972 erschien das erste Album bei Brain Records, im Jahr darauf das zweite.

Thirsty Moon was created in Bremen, in northern Germany, in the summer of 1971 when several groups merged. One of these was the Drogies Rock Project, more commonly known as DRP, fronted by two brothers, drummer Norbert Drogies and guitarist Jurgen Drogies.

Hereafter the Thirsty Moon story becomes a mite sketchy. Harald Konietzko went to France, reappearing in Germany in the late-1970's with La Düsseldorf. It would seem that "Blitz" could be solely the Drogies brothers. It's an instrumental rock album based mostly around multi-percussives and guitars, and although more commercially styled, it still had many of the distinctive Thirsty Moon trademarks.
