Jimmy Cliff had more than made his mark a decade before this with his soundtrack to 'The Harder They Come'-unleashing a number of reggae standards that would not only rival Bob Marley & The Wailers and Lee Perry in terms of 70's reggae innovations,but also establish his own career as well. More than aware of the meaningful impulse of both reggae and funk in the same era Jimmy Cliff really entered the 80's with a contract with Columbia in 1982. This is his second release for the label
