Every last drop of strength is dug up from a thirsty reserve; it’s one foot in front of the other in a tremendous display of will, of desire, of self-belief. Continuous Thunder’ signs Japandroids off with a different type of epic than that which they’ve become known for. It’s patient, restrained, and apprehensive,.

Album · 2012 · 8 Songs. A modern classic by the cathartic punk duo. Clocking in at 35 minutes and bookended by the sound of fireworks, Celebration Rock sounds like Born to Run–era Springsteen played by two guys secretly worried it might be their last night on Earth. From the anthemic blast of The Nights of Wine and Roses to the bittersweet expanse of Continuous Thunder, they barely let up, pumping their fists with lumps in their throats. Celebration Rock Japandroids.
Celebration Rock is well balanced with a much bigger sound and showcases the band's growth as songwriters. Songs like "Evil's Sway" and "The House That Heaven Built" prove that the Vancouver duo has more than staying power with this sophomore release. Exclusively for Prime members. Sample this album Artist (Sample). Japandroids Celebration Rock was probably the best album I downloaded this summer. It is a great album, from start to finish.
What the Japandroids do isn't fancy or complicated. They produce adrenaline filled rock and roll anthems. This album is loads of fun and every song on this album is strong. As well as being the best album of the year, this album also has the best track of the year so far and that is "House that Heaven Built. 0 of 0 users found this helpful.
