When English pop meets the English popes of experimental music : Can i really say English?, Clodagh Simonds with this Celtic name is rather Irish. A beautiful voice, a piano and classical strings and then it's all slightly crushed by Michael Begg and Colin Potter under the auspices of Brian Eno on percussions!

Track Name: Far From Here. Some days when I awake I find my body light and hollow the room is alive with song and I can hear but I can't quite follow your day's begun - your smile's upon my face and I'm undone - like a stone that rolls away way down the face of the mountain down down to the valley to dream of. the faraway the far-from-here and the mountain calling always

The eagerly anticipated album from Fovea Hex, HERE IS WHERE WE USED TO SING has finally arrived and is now shipping from the Omnempathy Stor. orry. Currently out of stock. Brainwashed say – the more I listen to the album, the more I fall in love with it. Sublime.

Looking for song, bouncy, acoustic pop song on the radio, female singer, chorus is minimalistic, goes "you make my heart beat right", with a fair bit of space between each word (I think these are the wrong lyrics, as googling them doesn't lead me where I want to be). Thanks. Eddie 17 June 2019 Reply. and at the drop its like " I wanna.

Elastic Skunk
Wow, deep stuff this. Approaching a widescreen cinematic flicker between pathos and peace out in the dark night of the soul. The 6th track "A Hymn To Sulphur" is a good example: it has a sound somewhere between This Mortal Coil, 'Aion'-era Dead Can Dance and 'Sahara Blue'-era Hector Zazou. A distant celestial signal plays over a deep throbbing bass, upon which strings and voices layer and weave together in restrained elegance, to fill a menacing yet sweetly familiar place. No climax, just a hovering in the arched vaulting of an ancient sonic mysterium, a procession round an intimate cloister filled with starlit thorny beauty.
