The Toto Japan Classic is an annual women's professional golf tournament in Japan, jointly sanctioned by the two richest women's professional tours: the . based LPGA Tour and the LPGA of Japan Tour. It was an unofficial money event on the LPGA Tour from 1973 to 1975. It has taken place every year since 1973 at various locations, and is typically held in early November.

Toto released their fourteenth studio album and their first in nine years titled Toto XIV on March 20 (Europe), March 23 (UK and Oceania), and March 24, 2015 (North America)  . On September 29, 2015, Toto announced the first leg of their 2016 Tour in support of Toto XIV consisting of European and Japanese dates. Leland Sklar, who joined them on their 2007 and 2008 tours, replaced founding member Hungate. Sklar left Toto in early 2017 and was replaced by Shem von Schroeck.

You release your debut album, the self titled TOTO. A guilty pleasure of mine are the first two tracks, the instumental "Child's Anthem" followed by the driving, disco-ish (used here as a compliment) "I'll Supply The Love". The other minor qualm that I have about this album that Toto did rectify in later albums is that so much of their music really lends itself to background horn parts. You can almost here where some of the keyboard, synth parts would be played by a horn section. This doesnt detract from the music, but is a way to see how they progressed in sound from this solid debut.
