Infinity Land is the third studio album by Scottish rock band Biffy Clyro, released on 4 October 2004 on Beggars Banquet. The album saw the band move into darker territory, in terms of both sound and lyrical content. It also furthered various experiments from The Vertigo of Bliss, such as using 5/4 time ("There is no Such Thing as a Jaggy Snake"), multiple time changes, key changes, instrumental variation, unpredictable riffs and complex song structures.

Genre: Alternative Rock. Weird, erratic, random (but not the XD kind), Infinity Land would be the last record I’d recommend to first time Biffy listeners but that’s not to imply a lack of quality. Considering the underground success the band were experiencing at the time, it’s admirable that instead of going down the path they would trod half a decade later, Biffy chose to turn the dial up to 11 and make an album that, while sporadic in nature, was 100% them.

Biffy return with their third album, which is always the big one for bands. First establishes them. My Recovery Injection was one Biffy song that was played constantly on music TV, and the video was great. The song itself on the album has an extended jam introduction with a wah effect making its debut. Then the catchiest use of a hammer on/pull off ever kicks in. A softer song, which still contains all the regular song traits for a Biffy track.
