JOHAN - JOHAN (Full Album).
Johan is the debut album by the Dutch band Johan. It was released on November 4, 1996 by the record label Excelsior Recordings. The album was produced by Frans Hagenaars. The album was released in the US in June 1997 by the record label SpinArt.
The first album by the Dutch pop quartet Johan didn't make a lot of noise outside the Netherlands, which is a shame because its mix of indie-guitar nervousness, power pop hooks, and retro-pop sophistication is absolutely terrific. Singer-guitarist Jacco de Greeuw sings the instantly catchy tunes in flawless unaccented English, in accordance with the grand Europop tradition, and lead guitarist Remco Krull fills the songs with just-so one-note solos and Wedding Present-style strummy riffs.

4 (pronounced Four) is the fourth studio album by Johan, released on 30 April 2009. Unlike Johan's tradition to release new records every five years, the album is released only 3 years after THX JHN Like all Johan albums, it is released on the Excelsior Recordings label. The first single of the album will be In The Park, first aired on 3FM on April 6, 2009.
