Pieces de Guitarre de Mr. This is young French-Canadian guitarist David Jacques' three-disc & de force' of playing the complete works of Robert de Visée (c. 1650 - c. 1732), court musician at Versailles to Louis XIV, the French & Roi Soleil'. De Visée was singer, teacher and player of the guitar, the lute, the theorbo and the viola da gamba, as well as composer of music. A rare compilation in itself, the two books of his guitar music survives with twelve suites - an informal collection of dances, written in the same key, intended to be played in a certain sequence.

The Death of Marat (French: La Mort de Marat or Marat Assassiné) is a 1793 painting by Jacques-Louis David of the murdered French revolutionary leader Jean-Paul Marat. It is one of the most famous images of the French Revolution. David was the leading French painter, as well as a Montagnard and a member of the revolutionary Committee of General Security. The painting shows the radical journalist lying dead in his bath on July 13, 1793, after his murder by Charlotte Corday.
