The Hasselhoff Experiment - How Is The Air Up There? La De Da's - How Is The Air Up There (Auckland NZ - Philips PF 338077 - 1966) La De Das - How Is The Air Up There The La De Da's - How Is jwy.

Cover version of THE CHANGIN' TIMES 1965 song (also done by The La De Dahs in 1966). HOW IS THE AIR UP THERE, from the 1982 self-titled EP from The Bangles. The Bangles were the most famous of the bands from the so-called 'Paisley Underground' scene of the early 80's. I got inspired by the lyrics and made a totally different song out of it. Hope you like mine as wel l:-) Check it out under "Inanamusic- How is the air". Up until now the La De Da's version of this song is the only one I've ever known about - its great and powerful and a peon railing against the unobtainable that is in all women and while I like ex-Bangles Susanna Hoffs as a solo performer, this rendition of, How Is The Air Up There, is really just a novelty.

Music Week's round-up of the latest album reissues and catalogue releases. This week we take a look at a collection of 'mod, soul, R&B & freakbeat nuggets from down under', The Complete Kent Recordings of . Hill and Marlena Shaw’s Go Away Little Boy: The Columbia Antholog. arious How Is The Air Up There? (RPMRPMBX 539). The album opens in rip-roaring style with the title track – a cover of a song by US band The Changin’ Times – given an energetic garage rock makeover by The La De Da’s. Originally from Auckland, they were one of the top local acts, and were also enormously successful in Australia. With five tracks on the album, they are the band to have the biggest presence but to my ears The Action are the best of the bunch.

He thinks he's always right Your mother watches her . Won't talk to you all night. Couldn't help sitting up so high He's gotta find love He's never seen a flower tree Or anything that close. And everyday I'll pass and say Hey! How is the air up there How is the air up there How is the air up there According to you I just don't care I'm falling on the ground. First time that you saw me Said you'd hope I would change Well, your friends took one look at me And they sure acted strange.
