Zoo TV: Live from Sydney is a concert video release by rock band U2 from the "Zoomerang" leg of their Zoo TV Tour. Recorded on Saturday, 27 November 1993 at Sydney Football Stadium on the band's featured stop in Sydney, Australia, it was released in May 1994 on VHS and Laserdisc, and re-released in September 2006 on DVD. It won the Grammy Award for Best Music Video, Long Form in 1994. The show was also broadcast around the world live on pay-per-view.
Bono then channel surfs on ZooTV. The live feed produces a glimpse of various 'shows', including an Australian soap opera and a local cricket match. The crowd's enthusiastic response to a catch made by a cricket player makes me wonder if it's the Australian equivalent of 'the shot' by Michael Jordan or a David Ortiz home run vs. the Yankees. "Welcome to ZooTV, y'all. They continue to charge through the best cuts from Achtung Baby: "Even Better Than the Real Thing," "Mysterious Ways" (including a belly dancer), and "One. U2 in 1991 when they toured this show in support of Actung Baby, there greatest album ever, were at there peak. This dvd captures what this band could truly be. Tight show, most of there hit songs, great stage set-up and most gratifying was very little "Billy Graham" Bono.

Zoo tv: live from sydney. The video was filmed in Sydney Australia on the fall leg of 1993's Zoo TV tour. They had filmed two nights in Sydney, one a warm up night, became problematic when Adam Clayton did not show up to perform. Instead his tech, Stuart Morgan played bass that night. The second night was filmed again, this time with Adam Clayton performing, and it was an amazing concert.
