With release after release of pure inner turmoil and anguish, Trist has solidified himself at the forefront of the genre. Nostalgie carries on the status quo, with long ethereal riffs winding in and out of murky production and vocals that pierce the haze, Nostalgie continues Trist's signature style whilst also injecting new elements. Minimalism has always been a utility that Trist was able to harness to the utmost extent and Nostalgie carries on the trend. The two songs present on this album are probably Trist's best, even rivaling the majestic "Snění ".
