Some Enchanted Evening" is a show tune from the 1949 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical South Pacific. It is "the single biggest popular hit to come out of any Rodgers and Hammerstein show. It is a three-verse solo for the leading male character, Emile, in which he describes seeing a stranger, knowing that he will see her again, and dreaming of her laughter. He sings that when you find your "true love", you must "fly to her side,, And make her your own".
Some enchanted evening, you may see a stranger, Одним волшебным вечером ты можешь увидеть незнакомца, You may see a stranger across a crowded room . That somehow you'll see her again and again. Что ты будешь встречать ее снова и снова. Some enchanted evening, someone may be laughing, Одним волшебным вечером тебе покажется, что кто-то смеётся. You may hear her laughing across a crowded room

A perfectly acceptable, completely unnecessary souvenir record from a hard-touring band of the '70s. It should perhaps be noted that the mid- to late '70s was a period when more live albums than usual were being released, especially in the wake of Peter Frampton's massively successful 1976 album Frampton Comes Alive!.
