Big Sounds of the Drags is the second album by Junkie XL, released on Manifesto Records in 1999. The tracks "Synasthesia", "Dance USA" and "Future in Computer Hell (Part II)" were included in the video games Test Drive: Overdrive (2002), and "Action Radius" in Need for Speed: Underground (2003). Action Radius" was released as a single upon its re-release in 2000.

To put it simply, "Big Sounds Of The Drags" has not the consistent strength and these continuous dark and explosive beats like its predecessor but it is the result of a light-hearted Junkie XL. He has worked on it for more than a year and the final product is GORGEOUS (despite the hair loss of Mr. Holkenborg during and after the process). This album is worth the money though; it's basically electronic music fused with rock elements and rappers done right. Which is what the previous album is, except this one is a bit lighter hearted.
