Joan Baez is the self-titled debut album by folk singer Joan Baez. The album was recorded in the summer of 1960 and released the same year. The original release featured 13 traditional folk songs. Later reissues included three additional songs.

This record contains an interesting selection of the musical work of Joan Guinjoan - without doubt one of the most significant figures among modern Spanish composers– consisting of four works which are obviously divisible into two pairs. On the one hand, "Acta est fabula" and "El Diari" correspond to the mid-seventies and show how Guinjoan approached different forms of "open music", giving precedence, in both cases, to the voice.
