Fleetwood Mac, also known as Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac, is the debut studio album by British blues rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 24 February 1968. It is the only album by the band not to feature Christine McVie in any capacity.

Founded in London in July 1967 (by ex-Bluesbreakers members, Peter Green and Mick Fleetwood), Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac instantly became a major force in the UK blues scene, along with their eponymous first album. Following "Mr. Wonderful" & "Then Play On" the driving force of Peter Green had deteriorated as he lapsed into a personal crisis by 1970. The group reorganized, under the leadership of Fleetwood, and slowly took on a new direction - away from the blues and into the mainstream of international popularity, known simply as Fleetwood Mac.

Part 2 Fleetwood Mac: Members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks unite for an evening that revisits the passion that propelled them to the top of the charts in a night of rocking classics. The culmination of wrenching lyrics, harmonious delivery and purposeful melodies maintained by the rhythms of Fleetwood and McVie (the band’s namesakes), have endured several stylistic incarnations over the decades. Part 1: As one of the most popular and enduring acts for more than thirty-five years, Fleetwood Mac has seen it all. Anchored by the tight rhythm section of Mick Fleetwood on drums and John McVie on bass, Fleetwood Mac began as a hard-hitting British blues-rock act in 1967, featuring "Black Magic Woman" author, Peter Green.

As far as odds and ends packages go, Original Fleetwood Mac (1971) is an undeniably strong collection culled primarily from the band's first incarnation, featuring John McVie (bass/guitar), Mick Fleetwood (drums), Peter Green (guitar/vocals), and Jeremy Spencer (guitar/piano/vocals). As evidenced by the material, this quartet are an unmistakably blues-based combo. Early on they distinguished themselves as not only interpreters of traditional fare, but skilled composers, especially Green, who penned the vast majority of these selections.

The first CD comprises material from Fleetwood Mac’s blues prime – Shake Your Moneymaker, Black Magic Woman and so on – to their rock era with songs such as Station Man and Sentimental Lady. It’s a career that could have ended there, another rock band who foundered on the shores of the 1970s. But the second CD is, as it were, the money shot, with all the best material from the Buckingham and Nicks years
