It was released in 1988 for Profile Records and featured production from DJ E-Z Rock, Rob Base, David "DJ" Wynn, Donald "O" Bowden and Thomas Dean. Both the album and the title track/single were certified platinum by the RIAA on June 12, 1989 and December 28, 1989, respectively.
