Razorlight is an Anglo-Swedish band formed in London, United Kingdom in the summer of 2002 around singer/writer Johnny Borrell. Razorlight is a four-piece consisting of Borrell (vocals & guitar), Björn Ågren (guitar), Carl Dalemo (bass) and Andy Burrows (drums). Their debut album, Up All Night, was released on June 28, 2004, reaching number 3 in the UK album charts on 4 July.

Razorlight’s eponymous second album is the band’s most commercially successful album to date, debuting at on the UK albums chart and spawning their only single: America. It is also their first to feature drummer Andy Burrows after the departure of Shïan Smith-Pancorvo. The album’s style is much softer and less energetic than its predecessor, but it still features the same simple guitar-bass-drums formula.
