The most recent album by the Outsiders, called 30 Years Live was released in 1996 and reissued in 2006; only two of the original members, King and Nims were on board. The performances were taken from two live concerts in 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio and Las Vegas, Nevada. King died aged 68, on April 23, 2011, in a Wickliffe, Ohio nursing home. The Outsiders In – also known as simply In or In! – is the third studio album by the Outsiders. It is the first album released by the band that did not make the Billboard charts.
The Outsiders were an English punk rock group, formed in 1975 in Wimbledon, England and consisting of singer-guitarist Adrian Borland, bass guitarist Bob Lawrence and drummer Adrian "Jan" Janes. The former two would go on to form the critically successful post-punk band the Sound. The Outsiders formed in Wimbledon, London, England in 1975. They were originally called "Syndrome" but changed their name to the Outsiders in 1976, inspired by Albert Camus' novel The Outsider.
In The Outsiders, . Hinton tells the story of 14-year-old Ponyboy Curtis and his struggle with right and wrong in a society in which he is an outsider. Looking at life as an outsider and feeling as though one is being treated as an outsider is a matter of perspective or point of view. Someone who always feels like an outsider may conclude that life is unfair. The third major theme that runs through The Outsiders is the use of colors in a black and white world. Adolescents have a tendency to embrace people and events as absolutes.

As The Outsiders shows us, the world has always been split along class lines. There have always been straight-laced girls interested in daring bad boys. Buddies have always looked out for each other. In a world where popular ideas are becoming more insular, radicals are the ones thinking outside the box. What’s more, they could very well be our best hope for the future. The mainstream may not have the answers, so it’s society’s outsiders who try for more abstract solutions and do so on their own terms. A highly recommended read, 'Radicals Chasing Utopia' could influence you to chase after some of these utopian organizations and ideas, or make you want to flee from them just the same. I also agree with the authors deduction that the world changes constantly, therefore radicalism is an important indicator which can trigge Never really knew many of the radicals I met in this book apart from the Muslim ones. But than the Muslim radicals were not described in much detail as compared to the other radical types.
