Karnivool - Persona album flac

Persona is an EP released by the Australian band Karnivool. The disc was originally released on 1 March 2001 via Sic Squared Records, selling 2,000 copies. It was re-released on the band's own label on 12 December 2005 via MGM Distribution, whilst the band were touring for their album Themata. The re-release reaching on the AIR Charts Top 20 Singles (Independent Distribution) chart. The re-release featured a different inkblot cover

This being one of the heavier songs on the album, even having Kenny screaming some backing vocals in the opening verses, the track really doesn’t extend or vary from the opening second, and continues rolling down a hill like a proverbial ball of cheese from there on. Though thankfully ‘Headcase’ evolves out of this song, even if the first couple of minutes sound like you have been sucked up by a UFO and an alien with a anal probe is encroaching, but that’s another story.

Persona is more of a metal album, in my opinion, than its successors. It's a pretty solid release from the band that I feel were still trying to find themselves - quite literally when you consider their lineup changed from Persona to Themata to Sound Awake
