Throughout the years, the band suffered several drastic changes in the line-up and in November 2007, the original members was Rikard Wermén (drums) and Axel Johansson (guitar). In March 2008, Wermén left the band, which disbanded in July after several problems between Axelsson and Martin Schönherr.

Cut Carve Rip Serve is barbaric, menacing, putrid, and downright pulverizing from start to finish. Spinning this album one can hear the strong Cannibal Corpse influence from their Tomb of the Mutilated and The Bleeding albums. Certain parts of the album have an old school Swedish death metal vibe circa 1992. The song, Blood on Pale Hands showcases a melodic side to the musicianship and especially the drumming. The guitars groove while the drumming and bass grind endlessly, destroying.

Deranged was formed 1991 by a couple of bored teens in the southern parts of Sweden that basically wanted something to do on their sparetime. bloodiest and most violent bands of the time, like early Carcass, Napalm Death, Impetigo, Suffocation et c, and even bloodier horror films, they started to grind. In 2000, Deranged signed with French label Listenable, and the slot as basist and vocalist was filled by Johan Anderberg. The third album, simply titled III, and the fourth self-titled, was released, alongside a split with US legends Abscess. The band also visits Japan, first time outside Europe.
